What's On at The Churchill
As a village pub, we regularly host events during the year.
Our Quiz Night is now a regular diary feature, held on the last Sunday of every month at 7.30pm. The essence of the evening is fun, rather than serious quiz masters! Always an amusing evening, with a competitive undertone, teams of four are welcome.
From May to September the Churchill Arms Aunt Sally Team are in regular action every Thursday evening. A traditional pub game, the Churchill Team are the reigning Gloucestershire champions, but are always looking for new talent, and anyone interested should click here or ask in-house for details.
The Churchill Arms is also proud to sponsor the Paxford Cricket Club. Matches are held on Saturdays over the Summer months, and nets practice is on Sunday mornings through out the year. Alternatively if you just fancy the social aspect, then join them for a beer on a Sunday, they can regularly be found at the bar from 12 o’clock onwards!!
For the gastronomes, our Food and Wine Evenings are extremely popular and early booking is advised. The steak night and game evenings have proved particularly successful. Hosted on alternate months over the winter.
